One night i had a dream…a dream i had many times over many years, it was a dream about racing on the salt flats of Bonneville, now, thanks to the endless support of my friends, myself and Britt may just be about to realise that dream…along the way i met, purely by accident, a group of lads who are in a band called “The Hovercraft Pirates” they have a song, a song called dreams…it has rapidly become our theme tune, nay mantra…all we want to do is to prove that ordinary people…CAN do extraordinary things, that the person in the street CAN realise their dreams…keep chasing them folks…and never ever give up!
This song has come to mean a lot to a lot of people, we are glad to call the Pirates our friends and we are so glad they were able to pen these words…

Well someone once told me you got what you got
you can put your all into it, sometimes its not enough
But Ive been finding that person is wrong

not like the others struggling smiles

I stopped by a man lying by the street with 5 strings on his guitar and torn shoes on his feet
I flipped him a coin, “can you play a song for me?”
He played the warmest notes I had heard in a while whispering through the cold and bringing my smile
He said “thanks for having my back, your a true pirate. Never give up on your dreams”
